Diamond Group – 11:00 to 13:00 – 2nd Monday of the month – A friendly, caring group for people over 60. A healthy, nutritious lunch is provided with tea or coffee. We have lively activities such as bingo, Spanish, singing, music, etc. Come and join in with this lovely group.

Breast Cancer Support Group – 11:00 to 13:00 – Last Monday of the month – A support group for survivors or those still enduring breast cancer. A friendly, supportive group who like to catch up and have a chat over brews and biscuits.

Sit B Fit – 13:00 to 14:00 – Our qualified fitness instructor Mandy Wadsworth runs this group for over 50’s. Fitness is for everyone and Mandy will tailor the exercises to the needs of the group.

I.T. course – 14:30 to 16:30 – Our volunteer, John, supports you with any IT difficulties you might have. Open to all but also job seekers.

Yoga  – 18:45 to 20:15 – Strengthen your body by yoga stretches and soak in the relaxing atmosphere improving both your posture and wellbeing.

Dementia Support Group – 11:00 to 13:00 – Every 2nd Tuesday of the month – A friendly, caring group for people living with dementia and their carers. A healthy, nutritious lunch is provided with tea or coffee. In addition to this, activities such as bingo, singing, music, etc are provided. We also have sessions with the nursery children to foster inclusivity and cross-generational friendships.

Ashton Art Group – 20:00 to 22:00 – This welcoming group has been running for over 50 years. Open to anyone over 16. All artistic abilities welcome. From still life, portraits and much more discover new techniques to strengthen your artistic practice.

We have a dedicated computer suite exclusively for job seekers so they can do their job search in a warm and friendly environment.

We have an appointment system where people can phone one week in advance and tell us what sort of help they’re after – digital skills, putting together a CV, job interview information, etc. Call on 01942 274 684 or email info@cccad.co.uk to make an appointment.

Health and Fitness  – 10:15 to 11:45 – Led by enthusiastic tutor Ann, this group has been running for years. Have a healthy work out while listening to motivating music.

Weight Watchers – 18:00 to 19:30 – Get support for a healthier lifestyle from a wellness coach and fellow participants.

Ladies Association – 19:00 to 21:00 – A group who meet and knit, natter and sometimes enjoy some educational speakers.

Photowalks & Wellbeing – 10:30 – 12:00 (Starting from 30th January 2020)

We will focus on learning new photography skills, making new connections, learning about photographers’ work and chatting all things creative.
In the winter months we will plan photography walks for the warmer weather.
The group has an Arts for Health approach welcoming everyone in the community – with a focus on the fact that getting together and doing a meaningful activity fosters wellbeing and reduces social isolation.

Creative Writing – 13:30 to 15:30 – 3rd Friday of the month – Mavis Fairhurst runs this friendly group where members write short stories and record personal histories to pass down to children and grandchildren.
