£515.00 donation for the Luncheon Club!

We want to say a huge thankyou to the Brian Lowe Memorial Cup in aid of Dementia held at Garswood Hall Bowling & Community Club on the 28th May 2023 for their donation of £515.00!

Joyce Gorman collected the cheque which will be donated to the Diamond / Dementia Ashton Luncheon Club, which is held at the Childcare & Community Centre Hilton Street, Ashton-in-Makerfield on the second Monday of each month.

In the picture below, Joyce can be seen with Mark Beddows and Nik Shaw. Nik Shaw runs the community side of the bowling club and Mark’s uncle John previously attended the dementia group with his friend Peter. The memorial cup was set up in memory of John’s passing and we’re so thankful for the generous donation towards keeping our luncheon club running!
