Children’s Christmas Party

A huge thankyou to Councillor Andrew Bullen for funding via Brighter Borough our free Children’s Christmas party. Over 45 children plus their parents/carers attended and volunteers from Wigan Council helped us all have a fantastic time.

We had a fabulous buffet with sandwiches and gluten and dairy free alternatives supplied by All You Need is Lunch, they were yummy and a huge cake, mince pies and sausage rolls kindly donated by Ashton Pantry. Lots more savouries/pizzas/wedges/pies and cakes.

All children saw Father Christmas and received a wonderful present.

Entertainment was provided by Face2Face, two ladies who have so much energy and enthusiasm that everyone was up playing the games and having a brilliant time.

This is what Christmas is about, hopefully we will be able to hold another party next year.
