SEND Engagement – Experiences of Health Services

Healthier Wigan Partnership are currently reviewing the support of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) young people and their families and want people to share their experiences and help to improve health services in Wigan. A survey has been developed in co-production with Wigan Parent Forum, SEND Team and local community groups and organisations, to gather insight into people’s experiences of services and aimed at young people aged 0-25 with SEND, parent or carers of a young person with SEND, and professionals working with SEND services.

There are four core elements within the survey:

• Access to services
• Experiences of services
• Experience in diagnosis
• Transition or change between services
